General Memorandum

No. 2006-2.

Events:

The results of the event ballots have been tallied. Brigade events for 2006 will be JEFFERSON CITY MO May 20/21, ATOKA OK, September 22/24 and PRAIRIE GROVE AR December 02/03. Please refer back to the Brigade Web Site for updates and information.  http://www.usfrontierbrigade.com

Member units must send a total of 16 men to 2 of 3 events. For example, they can send 10 persons to one event and 6 to one of the other events, or any combination that will total 16 persons. If they cannot comply they will not be considered “active” in the Brigade.

 

Safety:  

Safety will come first at all times. A new Safety Officer will be appointed and he will inspect and verify weapons. He will also verify we have no participants under age 16 on the battlefield. The Safety Officer will appoint personnel to assist him with ice and water, when necessary, on the field. If Dr. Stroud and company are on site they will usually assume this duty.

 

Communications:

Good communications are essential for any organization. Captains are to see that all Brigade communications received from Headquarters are forwarded to their men.
